Initially, breeding in the group of her descendants (daughters) was carried out according to the principle of working with the family. The role of a good breeder in breeding the breed is very large, the best families sometimes in terms of breeding value rise to the level of factory lines.
Leading breed families are a source of excellent producers, future founders of independent lines and families. It is from prominent bitches that many valuable breed lines originate. It is unfortunate that some breeders, forgetting about this, pay insufficient attention to working with families, striving only to lay new lines and work with them.

In addition, from exhibition to exhibition, dogs can have a different “shape”, and handlers can show them to the judges better or worse; it should also be remembered that each expert interprets the standard in his own way, attaching great importance to one or another characteristic as the same musical score is interpreted differently by different performers, although they all scrupulously follow the instructions of the composer.
One should not be surprised at the different evaluations of the dog at various exhibitions: a high rating at one exhibition can be called into question at the next, and this is precisely the interest in participating in exhibitions again and again.
