Little Doberman at your home

It happened! Finally, you have already decided on the breed and decided to stay on the Doberman. Well, a great choice, especially if you live in a spacious apartment or, better, in a country cottage. You must also consider your own temperament. If you are an energetic, agile and fearless person, then the Doberman is your dog. After all, he possesses the same features.

So, you go for your first “dobermashka”, overflowing with spiritual awe. A person opens the door to you, importantly referred to as the “breeder.” Most likely, this is just the owner of the breeding female, but it also happens to be the owner of the nursery. You go inside and see the most charming creatures in the world! If you still doubt it, then you are a random person in the world of lovers of this magnificent breed. Little Doberman is impossibly charming, although not much like his elegant parents. It consists of a velvety folded skin, a large forehead, disproportionately large paws and a naked belly. Well is not it a miracle! Of course, the mongrel puppies are much more harmonious and look like teddy bears. But what grows out of them later!

You get lost in the choice: which of these puppies will become your dog? Of course, it is better to choose the largest and most lively of them. But it happens that your future dog chooses you yourself. For example, my first Doberman Ram just crawled towards me and put his head on my slippers. This was quite enough for the emergence of mutual love for life.

Before you become a dog breeder, you become a “dog breeder” and eagerly hurry to quickly deliver your purchase to a new house.

All households are also looking forward, especially children. But secretly they hope that you will not bring a puppy, but a crocodile, because everyone now has a dog. So you go into the house and lower the precious burden to the floor. And the process of education begins, but it is not clear who and by whom.

This lump weighing four kilograms immediately subjugates the whole family. After all, first the puppy will inspect the new territory, inflate a puddle, and then begin to yearn for mom. And so loud that the knock of neighbors on the batteries will not take long. And this longing will last no less than three days and nights. In order to at least somehow console the baby, everyone will try as best he can. Everyone will vie with him to poke all sorts of goodies that the dog, at its discretion, will burst or not, but it will remain silent only while the mouth is occupied with food. Having swallowed the next portion of goodies, the puppy will again begin to cry plaintively. And then someone, the most compassionate, will find a “reasonable” way: to take the baby to his bed. A little Doberman at your home

Stop! You can not do it this way! This course of events is the easiest, but you will soon regret that you followed it. Doberman is a very smart and wayward dog, and if he is not immediately allowed to understand who is the owner of the house, it may happen that he will become a dog. No, of course, if you want to have an uncontrollable and capricious dog that bites everything, steals everything and sleeps in your bed – your will. If you follow the path of least resistance, most likely it will be so. But the Doberman respects will and strength. And if you force him to reckon with you, you will not find your best friend and guard.

This does not mean that you do not need to comfort the suffering baby. It is possible and even necessary! Only reasonable. For example, I myself spent the whole night with my first puppy on his bed. But this is also extreme. It is necessary to stroke the puppy, console him with words, drink warm milk … After all, he is so lonely!

More than one hundred articles have already been written about the nutrition of puppies, so I will be brief. Little Doberman needs meat (preferably low-fat beef), low-fat cottage cheese, milk, cereals. And vitamin D + calcium to prevent rickets. It should be remembered that the appearance of dense “rosary” and the curvature of the limbs – its true symptoms. In this case, you should contact your veterinarian. And anyway, if you see that something is wrong with the puppy, urgently call a doctor! After all, there are such canine diseases like distemper or enteritis that can leave your Doberman disabled, and this is in the best case … Therefore, the question of whether to vaccinate a dog, in my opinion, has no right to life. It is better to vaccinate a puppy before his teeth begin to change, that is, up to 4 months. And before vaccination the dog is better not to go outside, but to equip a temporary puppy toilet. Dobermans are very susceptible to infections. You need to vaccinate a puppy in a good veterinary clinic with proven vaccines.

And so the dog received the necessary vaccinations and you can walk with it. A walk is recommended for at least 4 hours, and the hour you need to run freely, without a leash. If you can’t provide the dog with long enough walks, this can affect the dog’s health. The puppy quickly gets used to meeting its needs on the street, but before reaching 6 months it is better to carry it there on your hands, because the back of the dog may be deformed from descents and ascents on the stairs.
